You should be fine! best practice for a situation like this would be to run a solder sample, either flux it and run through wave, or screen print, don't place parts and run through reflow. look for proper wetting characteristics if you see de-wetting

I'm looking for a chart that will help me identify smt resistors and capacitors. I have figured out a few on my own. a resistor with the numbers 510 printed on it was a 51 ohm resistor. numbers 221 was a 220 ohm resistor. numbers 102 was a 1k resis

The majority of SMT resistors use the following notation. 10 X eg 153 represents 1k5 resistor The third digit in the sequence denotes the number of zeros to add after the first two digits giving the value in ohms. Many Caps will follow the same nota

The first question in solving the "ol' SMT component loss after second-side wave operation" problem is: So, what makes you think the components actually came-off in the wave and not during some previous 'handling'? Putting that aside, we'll play thi

Hello Rohan, this is starting to date nearly 6 years ago but I will remember everything I can, we used a custom interface to input data and everything was stored in a very large database on a specific server only for quality data, I think we used Ora
