How high are we talking? 1000 Celsius? KIC Thermal Profiling double sided aluminum profiling tape. I have used at an extreme application of 240 to 300 degrees celsius for 18 minutes. With up to 30 passes with no visible degree of deterioration.

All, What method does everyone use for measuring the heat on the topside of the board in a Wave- we are currently using temp stickers. If the Flux is activated at between 110-120 degrees Celcius does this mean that the topside should read around 90

Don't know a thermal couple that will meet your "+/- 1 degree C in a 700 degree C" requirement. Look here: http://www.pentronic.se/eng/teori/termoel/termo9.asp Anyhow, have you considered screwing the leads to a terminal block?

Yes, 45 degree will kill the shadowing effect. YOu can also consider the teardrop on its land. No need to tilt to 45 degree.

I'd be leery curing the E-30cl Material at temps above 90 degrees C. (I believe the flashpoint is 93 Degrees C)

| A rash of new products here at my company have designs with multi-pin connectors 90 out-of-phase (orientation)wiht respect to wave direction, which has lead to massive bridging (shorts) problems.... | | Does anyone still use the 45 Degree Pallet
