3 Fiducials would be enough if two of the fiducials are from the opposite corner of the board. More than 3 would not add more accuracy but more confusion for setup.

Two Fiducials are sufficient for alignment. A third fiducial is useful to make sure the board isn't loaded backward. This assumes there's not a fourth fid on the opposite corner of the third. More than three fids just wastes time on a printer since
