You could always open the .bmp in Paint, and then do a "Save as..." and choose .jpg as the file type. Everyone has Paint. Unless of course you're using a Mac, but then you'd probably be a graphic designer anyways...

In-Line Barcode Scanning Question

Electronics Forum | Sat Jan 26 19:16:30 EST 2008 | mika

Can you have the designer to make a fixed area for this barcode? Meaning that you must have a position for this at the very same spot, unless your barcode system can be programmed to do barcode scanning on different spots, for different products/boar

Yeah i don't know I have not seen the actual application. RTV was already discussed by the customer and they don't want it. That is what I was thinking too. It is poor design and they are trying to find a cheap way out that doesn't look cheap. Thanks

Stencil Design Question

Don't worry about the paste print. Just omit it from the stencil. Mask over all the SMT components after reflow with water washable WSOL masking. Then run it thru the wave to deposit the solder. Then wash to remove masking. Or you could manually run

no-clean flux vs. impedance

Electronics Forum | Mon Feb 18 17:36:32 EST 2008 | kennyg
