Re: where can i get the geber formats?

Electronics Forum | Mon Dec 28 08:19:58 EST 1998 | Earl Moon

| | Your question seems vague and very general. Gerber formatting is nothing more than describing points in an X-Y plane. It may be provided via CAD design capabilities or by manual means that has been digitized. Gerber data is "dumb" - meaning i

I have just finished this excise which compared Mydata and Quad machine. As the result I purchased Quad QSV-1 model SMT assembler. In my opinion select which one that will depend on your applications. Also depend on what machines you compare with.

Predictive Models for solder defects

I was wondering how successful industry has been in quantifying relationships between defects rates of particular solder problems (like bridging, opens,..) and PCA design parameters (like spacing, part orientation, pad dimensions, ...). For wave sol

| Dear Colleagues: Most responses will be individual involvements with either rotors or the old pizza type cutters. Depending upon how your multi-up boards are designed will determine the actual spacing that you have for the singulation process. (r
