I think you are talking about Infra Red motion detectors. Most of them are 4.5V. You can use a voltage regulator 7805 IC(5VDC Output) after your 12 or 9VDC supply. In case your detector requires a different supply voltage simply choose a 78XX(XX=Volt

Hello Does somebody of you have some experiences with ultrasonic detectors in SMT-Production? Is it possible to test quality of solder joints by using a ultrasonic detector similar to non destrucitve crack inspection tests? Is there a manufacturer fo

Barry: We use motion detectors: * In our product packaging to determine if the shipper has drop kicked the box down the stairs. * Along our conveyors in production to sense a "line full" These are far different applications and probably far diffe

Thank you for the links. I didn't know that there are companys that build test systems for ultrasonic inspection. My idea was to use a ultrasonic detector similar to crack inspection, for example to detect if the cooling pad is melted, or a solder jo

There are two IR sensor (one for tipdown detector and other one for tipup detector) for each tip in each head. You should check infrared sensor for Head2 tip1, that cause may be by dirty between IR emitter and IR receiver. Just clean it and try to ru

We have had a few circuit cards come off the end of the oven and get damaged. Most cards have no problem sliding onto a ramp, but a few don't fare so lucky. Has anyone had any luck using a motion detector with an audible alert? I tried google, but I

We are tring to locate a 9 segment LED & dectector array. It is used in a coin reader to measure the diameter of a coin. Any help in locating such an array will be highly appreciated.
