We are currently masking and dipping. I need to source a selective conformal coating machine. I'm looking for something that's easy to program, accurate, good running costs and all that good stuff, semi-automatic, and repeatable for operators to use

Slaine, our intuition is the same as yours [that 100Sn should dissolve the copper faster than other solders]. Bob Gilbert's FCT data shows otherwise. Look here: http://www.fctassembly.com/newsltr/2004/0804/Aug04.htm

From Alpha Metals: "The test for copper dissolution was conducted by dipping a pre-fluxed copper wire specimen into the test alloys for a specified time period. The change in diameter of the copper wire is measured and a rate of erosion is determined

Hi, We have a board with over 100 chips (mixed size) and some long Connector DIP through out Wave solder with many issues of no solder and solder bridge, (using clean flux with bubble fluxer and Kester solder bar). Currently we tried to reduce the de

We've been soldering leadfree components for maybe 15 years. We'd be surprised not to be able to store components for at least a year, not that we purposely do that. Component fabricator process determine the maximum storage time for components. M

Dear Members, Sorry,I might have not made myself clear on this issue and creating some confusion.Actually the problem faced is during the DIP Soldering process whereby one of the connector(IDE Pin) solder is cracked and lifted from the pattern.Visual
