I am assuming that the card that was changed was the motor driver card. Did they change the card with a known good board or just swap the X and Y cards. If they swapped cards it appears that the card that is now in the X motor slot is bad. Open the a

There is a couple of things to check. Put the machine in diagnostics and let the chain run. You should see it run the same as you would if purging it. Sometimes the 2 hall effects at the disk do not see the disk as it turns. Check the driver board

Motor Error 5 is usually an interlock error. Take off the rear right cover and look at the red and green led's on the driver cards. If they are both lit....you have a door open or if you have carts....a feeder base switch is up. Good Luck

Are both red and green leds on for the driver cards (they are located in the bottom right of the machine). If they are both on then you have an interlock opened. If this is the case....check the side doors....sometimes they are not shut all the way.
