What flux are you using? We use a low-solids No-Clean water-based flux. Maybe some of what you are seeing is not residue from the flux but is from reaction with the solder mask.

The residues are from the flux, not adhesive. Do you have flux management system in oven? You also need to check the flux type = can you use low solids. The effect is the same as steam in bathroom - it is cooling affects in exhaust and flux reforming

Looking at the original post, it seems that the white residue is formed on the board after wave soldering and becomes evident when it has been left standing for a while. From what I understand, it seems that the solids content of the "no clean" flux

Oswaldo, Your reasoning is correct, but the strange part is that Russ didn’t have a problem for years using the same flux so you would assume his fluxer is designed for low solid fluxes.
