Thanks Rob, Our tape does meet the Kemet spec but I am actually wondering if there is an EIA spec or something to compare to.

Has anyone had a problem with the trailer tape length being too short and causing placement machine to stop for parts exhaust (SMT parts)? I realize the EIA spec. is set for this length but would like to know what issues you have had. Thanks

I have run across reference to EIA-481 for specifications on Tape And Reel components for automatic placement and am looking for something similar that specifies standards or dimensions for IC Tubes or sticks. I am trying to make the vibatory feeder
