Our machine is YAMAHA YVL88II and the issues we have with these data switches are either not being picked up from the feeder at all or are being ped before assembly.

Armando, Make sure chip wave is pumping evenly across. These TD machines require a lot of maintenance (deep cleaning)to ensure all the holes on nozzle are open... My two cents, George

Check that you are getting an even spray pattern from the fluxer.Check that the chip wave nozzle is clean and if possible feed the PCB in to the wavesolder unit at 90 or 180.

You're talking equipment classification. We're not sure what your component supplier means. What do they say?
Electronics Forum | Thu Jun 04 11:10:23 EDT 2009 | leemeyer
Are you refering to components or assemblies. Assemblies are classified as 1,2 or 3 per IPC-A-610. Components are classified 1 - 6 for moisture sensitivity per J-STD-020

Hi, I don't think DEK do anything, but does anyone know of anyone who does any full automatic stencil printers? Grant

Grant, Look at Surface Mount Techniques: http://www.smtprinters.com/printers.html They make fully automatic printers that will print PCB's up to 30" X 60" and 1" thick. That's pretty large format if you ask me... Steve
