I have been had doing surface mount boards for a while and am now looking for a cheap fairly small footprint machine to help get more boards out. The problem is I don't know a lot about pick and place machines and there are so many different kinds s

Daniel, We'd recommend MyData's as good low foot print, short quantity machines. They have a good level of flexibility for the price and operation. Considering what you've described, an older used TP9 would suit you. I'll caution you, though, tha

We are running an upgraded, refurbished MyData TP9 machine in our high mix, low volume production. With those improvements it does okay on the 0402s. The TP platform is no longer in production but they are still providing good support for machines

If we're comparing a TP9 or a MY9 to anything FUJI, I think the IP3 has it beat by a long shot. You can get a used IP3 with an MTU for under 35k. The only downside is that you require a programming interface with Fuji and it's built into the MyData.

Hi, I have experience with both Fuji and MYDATA, and while I am so incredibly happy with the Fuji, and Fuji Flexa is a good programming tool, MYDATA machines are not that hard to program at all, and the visual interface where you can move around the

Ramp rate is measured in degrees per second. Max and min temps are not required to to establish "ramp rate". The difference between parts, like I was describing is Delta T. But, ramp rate is a generation from this as well. Most component manufact

No, you're wrong! All that matters is you just wear nice shiny shoes, a long sleeve shirt and make sure the Delta-T in the crease of your pants doesn't exceed the ramp rate of your buzzwords. When people ask you very simple technical questions you

Thank You Guys for all your input. The reason I raised this case that it was our customer challenge us on the physical outlook of the profile board rather than its functionality no matter the profile curves looks good. Yes, we have a procedure to de

Hello, I'm considering to buy my first wave solder machine. We have small production, so we need an small machine, like bechtop wave solder machines. I have read that small machines as Novastar 8S, 12S, has some problems with complex PCB boards. Our
