You guessed right. Not hot enough to get good reflow. regards sarason

Hello, I want to ask on suitable temperature profile for PCBs with ENIG final surface finish. I know that it is complex question with many unknowns. When the PCB will be standard 1,5 mm 35/35 Cu and the amount of components will have any influence o

I bet you that the problem comes from the ENIG brittle solder joints. About low temperatures I think you can go to the absolute 0 and the device should still work.

Additional info: I use SAC305 solder paste on Enig PCB.

Hi everyone, someone knows the correct parameters for reflow the smt devices using SnPb on ENIG finishing ? Someone suggest to use more temperature than others finishing, cause nickel barrier. Someone can confirm this ? There are handbooks or articl

Thanks for your response, yet to try with RTS Solder profiles, Have you any additional comments on this RTS Temperature specifications like Time above liquidus, Peak temperature if any..??

Talk to your paste manufacturer, they can recommend a reflow profile (as well as advise the paste activation temperature, and liquidous reflow points. The ENIG finish should not affect your reflow parameters any more than the solder paste. Typicall

We have experience with this alloy, but with enig and we did start with PB HASL, none of our PCBs would of course pass thermal cycling at normal temperatures with the HASL so we went to ENIG. we could thermal cycle at 100-115C with no issues. We foun

I'd post an image of your current profile if you could. Have you tried a RTS profile instead of a RSS?
