GR@ICS, can you be more specific about your up in the Ersa machine please? Nozzle size, pump rate (%), and is your machine equipped with monitors on the solder pots? We have the same machine it sounds like, however we run Pb-Free in both pots. I

Iron huh? You sure about that? We have the ERSA Versaflows and our nozzles are made out of ST37 Tool Steel. There is an "American equivalent" to this grade but I forgot what it is. You'll have to google it like I did. Anywho, Tin or Tin-Lead sold

We have an Ersa and an Ace machine. The Ersa is made for bigger volumes of boards. Programming is longer/harder and not as user friendly. If your running 100 boards or less.....the Ace is the way to go. If you need flexibility the Ace is better.

We change the nozzles depending on the job. Do you have the magnetic nozzles? We upgraded to that. Usually we use the smaller ones.
