Has anyone done study or have feedback on 0402 placement capabilities of Europlacer Vitesse? What kind of common issues were seen when placing 0402s with the machine? We know the machine is rated for 0402s but don't know how reliable it is. Rgds, P

Hi, whatever you do,any type of converting, you have to type them at least once. So why don't you jus rename them. 1 day should be enough. regards, Emil

I've done it with Panasonic and with Mydata. Very different experiences. It will be very machine dependant as to how easy it is. With the Mydata all you had to do was type edit the part and type in the new name. All the data was filled in with the

I can try the ascii file approach. I dont really want to be manually typing in info (amending part part numbers). I've managed to export part numbers and descriptions from our MRP system so all info is there. I give it a try and see what happens..

My actual line(europlacer928+europlacer400)(7500-10000c/h)it is too much slow in the change of production(3 change to day) My choice is mydata as principal line (hight changes low volume) and old europlacer for my 8 product with max volume. or Siemen

Hi Greg, That's no real reflection though is it, in Europe you can't move for Europlacers these days. Just down the road from us a company has a couple of 928's that have been running since the dawn of time with no problems, & I can think of a hug
