Hey you FlexJet users out there... We just bought a new Universal machine with a FlexJet head on it. Excellent machine. However, I'm still in the learning stage and having a little trouble with 0402's and 0603's (caps mostly but resisters as well)

We have a bunch of Flexjet 1220 nozzles with worn rubber tips. The rubber tip comes off and looks replaceable but I assume UIC or COT wants to sell you the whole nozzle. Has anyone ever replaced the nozzle tip or are they available?

we have both flexjet and flexhead, we also have the new inline 7 head on some genesis dual beams we just put into operation. If you have a choice in flexjet heads take the inline 7. The flexjet 09 head is very labor intensive, stay away from them, e

I've found 08MPF good for 0402's & 0603's, however that was before the blade nozzles were released, and from what I've seen the blades allow you to place a lot closer.

Yes, that should be possible. You will need flex nozzle changers and different LP servo cards for head theta and z-axis control. - Dejan
