Fine-Pitch Applications

We are looking at some applications that will require fine-pitch and possibly ultra fine-pitch. I am currently using a spray type batch cleaner for cleaning our stencils. Will this be adequate for fine-pitch (15 � 20 mil pitch) applications?

Fine pitch parts are not the issue. Platic parts that absorb moisture are the issue. Search the fine SMTnet Archives to get started. Try: * MSD * Moisture sentive device * Dessicant cabinets * Baking times * 033 * 020 * etc

Fine Pitch Printing Issues

I believe industry standard is 1/2 pitch for fine pitch devices. If your part is 20 mil pitch, apts would be 10 mil wide. This should gasket fine to the pcb pad and with a 5 mil stencil should print well.
