Hi John, We use Spray mount adhesive on durastone pallets, then kapton tape on the egdes. We have produced upto 25K flexi PCB's a day with this method. The trick is to get just the right amount on the pallet, to maintain tackiness. Cheers, Rob.

Hi Ken, There may be different composites of Durastone, but there are certainly mixes out there that are. http://www.ascenteceng.com/resources/materials.html We used durastone as a carrier for flex circuits as well. Cheers, Rob.

I used the Rosenthal sheeter or slitter when I worked in flex circuits. Do you want to go from roll to sheet sheet stock? These machines worked very well for us. http://www.rosenthalmfg.com/

Steve, We build a lot of small flex circuits and we use conductive silicone mesh in our wash baskets to keep things from flying around. We buy it from AGI Corporation - Huntsville, AL - 256-858-3300.

Is the stiffener a piece of FR4, or a component that needs to be installed? We've done a number of flex assemblies taht have a rigid stiffener, generally a piece of rigid flex, or FR4 that has the components mounted on it. This type of stiffener

Hi delnosa, Sorry about being 10 days late - don't get to the bottom of the page much. I'm working of layering flex circuits sandwiched between FR4 layers. The flex is primarily designed to take the place of interconnects like yours. I work in ap

Why yes, I do have vacuum on my printer (God bless MPM!). I see what you're saying - use a pallet and have vacuum holes to hold the flex circuiut! Wow, it just got a little brighter in my cube! Oh, the light bulb above my head just went on. Thank
