Good tidings, all. I am looking for a machine that will allow us to mount a flat flexible strip (such as TennRich's B.Type) to a row of pads on a PCB. I have not much knowledge about the process, I guess I expect to see a machine with some hot bar.

I'm looking for a SMT prototype & small series assembly machine, needs to be very accurate, no need for high speed. For assembly batch size 1 to 50 pcb's. The machine needs to be accurate and flexible, able to place chips 0402 up to BGA components.

Daniel, We'd recommend MyData's as good low foot print, short quantity machines. They have a good level of flexibility for the price and operation. Considering what you've described, an older used TP9 would suit you. I'll caution you, though, tha

The machines you choose depends on the boards you build and how many of them you build. Assembleon is designed for faster production speeds where Juki is more flexible. Why are you just looking at these two? Aren't they in different leagues? Why not

Hi Bart, I would suggest MyData. They are good for protos because they are very flexible. You can use strips of parts with no leaders. This is huge unless your customer / company deals with nothing but full reels. You can even teach it to pick u

A thorough analysis is in order because laser point-to-point soldering lacks the flexibility of the bottom sided miniwave systems. My experience showed that heating profiles could be grossly affected by color temperature and thermal mass. This can be

UltraSonic cleaners do a good job of cleaning both stencils and misprint PCBs. Make sure the frequency that the machine comes set to is ok to use with both stencils and misprint PCBs. If you are a CM make sure your customers are ok with using the ul

Low end selective laser soldering systems are limited to what types of soldering can be performed. I have read through the previous comments and find that most have commented on earlier technologies (which do not offer the features today's system do)
