We did 0402s for years on a GSM. Is this a flexjet or a 4 spindle head? A flexjet is easy with 0402s. The four spindle nozzles are big, you run into issues with knocking already places parts and having to Z zone carefully (and beware repair cycles.)

The best buy you can do right now. There's a lot on the market at cheap price. Easy to find feeders & spare parts at good price. You can find a good machine for $20-25K Dont buy with FlexJet head unless your use to work with these heads. Complicated

I'm working on a regular base with Advantis. There's nothing special regarding maintenance with the machine itself, only standard greasing & cleaning each 3-4 months. An hour or two maximum. If you have lightning head on it, it's maintenance free. I

Thanks all for the opinions. Our shuttle/GSM1/PTF install was done by an ex-UIC engineer. Have never utilized shuttle so appreciate the advice on pros and cons of it all. We have 1.0 mil on PTF side and 4.0 on shuttle side. C4 head on both sides
