Wave solder temperatures are normally 485 deg. FARENHEIT... not Celcius.. Perhaps you got your units wrong?

As usual, we are faced with too many components and not enough board on a new design. Does anyone have experience wavesoldering .025" pitch TSOPs on the bottom side? Any advice is appreciated. Greg

BGA underside cleaning

We are about to use BGAs on our equipment. We clean all products prior to confomally coating them - to keep moisture off the IC legs. Will this be a problem with BGAs. Will we need to get the coating underneath the BGA or will the pitch on the balls

We want to insert LED's on .100 center's with a UIC Rad 2. The LED must have plastic standoff on the leads before they are inserted. Are there any tape & reel machines that will put the standoff on the LED and then put the component on tape & Reel. A

FR4 vs Ceramic mismatch

I hear that there is a problem with using ceramic parts that are sizeable. Apparently, there is a mismatch in the Temperature Coefficient of Expansion between the FR4 and ceramic materials which causes the soldered erminations to weaken and eventuall
