DEK print limit

Electronics Forum | Mon Jun 24 15:51:13 EDT 2024 | erikfriesen

Using horizon 02i, I'm trying to program the print area of a board outside of just the board width. It seems that print front and print rear limit has no effect on the print area. Any suggestions on a solution?

Well, I'm trying to restrict rather than expand. DEK tries to be smarter than the operator but it isn't really. I think that it may listen to the limit when operating but not in setup, who knows why.

I also happen to be running into this issue. A PCB we're trying to program has a width larger than the max board width. On our O2i, it says 12.992in is the max board width. HOWEVER the tech specs of Dek Horizon O2i advertise a max print area of 508m

Flux dip or solder print for CSP

I agree with previous postings regarding print speed: Solder paste type/versus fine pitch. Question: Is this a double sided pcb with fairly easy component packages on both sides? In such case, consider make the panel like this: Every second pcb in

RESOLVED I adjusted the "Minimum Board Width" in the Board Handling Configuration to resolve this issue. I set the lane width to a larger value which did not hit the front limit and measured the difference between the actual lane width and the set l

I'm setting up a product for the first time on my GSM after I completed debugging some other issues. The previous owners had the PWC axis disabled and the axis motor disconnected, so I re-connected it and enabled it and now it homes and moves. When I
