Hi All, Can anyone tell me if it's possible to change just the ratchet wheel on a Fuji 8x4 feeder to make it 8x2 so we can run 0402 chips, or would we need to change other parts in the feeders as well?

I have run across a resistor array whose tape has a 2mm pitch. Is there a way to modify a Fuji CP3 8x4 feeder to make it 8x2? Or do I need to purchace new feeders?

All of the 402 parts that we use come on 8X4 reels; double check the part pitch on the reel.

Why not check the parts lists for both the 8x2 & the 8x4 feeders ?. This should tell you for sure.

We recently purchased an old Fuji IP-I placement machine and have been testing 8x4 feeders for 0805 parts, etc. I have opened some of the non-working feeders to replace broken pieces and have noticed that some of the feeders are completely clean ins

Just wondering about feeders 8x2 with .7 nozzles and cover. Wondering if anyone that reads this has any extra feeders for sale or know of a house with some for sale? Got some 0402 coming my way and we only have 8x4 with 1.3 covers and 1.0 covers.

First off is your CP4 0402 ready? Before we could begin placing 0402's we had to have a vision upgrade. Once you have that or are sure your machine can handle 0402 then you will have to get 8x2 feeders. There may be a way to rig an 8x4 feeder but i'm
