I worked with Fuji CP6 where one of the techs wanted a minimum of part data's. He was used to working with panasonic machines. We would get resistors broken in two if the part data was too small and parts flying off the board if the part data was t

Also why I am at it. In the book CP-6 Series Maintenance Manul ( Fuji Part # MNT-C060-11.3E ) in Chapter 4 page 4-1-11 it says " The clutches should therfore be cleaned regularly, using the grease cleaner (ThreeBond 2706) provided with the machine."

Does it error during nozzle center check, if so, manually switch all holders to small, try center again. It should do about 8 small nozzle centers before error, if so this helps rule out the 10th station, if not check the 10th.

I found a bad solenoid and replaced it solenoid 15 on station 11. The machine is still erroring out. I also checked the holders and sensors and they seem to be ok. This error occurs when ever the machine tries to change nozzle sizes on any holder. T

When the clutch engages the nozzle correctly does it clear the engagement sensor at the end of the brake arm? I don't remember the actual name of this sensor but it clears when the drive gear properly engages the nozzle. This ensures a zero setting

Found the main problem During messing around (hopelessly :) we had found the calibration menu and pressed "check". Machine thought that there was a calibration nozzle (maybe 10x10mm square) but in reality, there was d=1.0mm nozzle. Machine decided

Since I have posted on this last, we have found that 99% of our nozzle sticking problems are do to part height problems. I have been told that CP6 machines are very sensitive to part height do to the amount of spring travel in the nozzle. If you hav

Ya know, The weird part is that we seem to have a real bad rash of nozzle sticking right after windmill PM's. After the machine runs for a week or so it seems to get way better. Like 99 to 100 % better. This leads me to believe that it is not a Z h

I just checked a hand full of scrap nozzles and the scuffing is usually on the right or left of the needle. If you have the cross pin facing you and looking down on the nozzle most of the scuffing or wear was on the left side, sometimes on both sides

Yeah, changing it while you run is ridiculous. I would take my thinnest part and play with the thickness, until you make it as thick as you can (and still place the part with good results). Then use that thickness for all. You can put a dial indicato
