I do not recall that "TEACH" ever worked. Even if it did, there is no way to save this data to the MCS. After you see that a fiducial cannot be found, change Xa-Ya in the program at the MCS to find it, and of course, re-transmit. Good Luck

Fuji Flexa Part Data library sharing

I am sorry for not being clear enough... We have a FUJI CP642 and a IP3 machine. At present, we have to create part data for each and every part used in a job, which consumes a lot of time. I was just wondering if there was a way to minimize this?

Its been a couple years since I worked with Flexa every day. The program uses the part number and this should reference some shape library. If you understand the nomenclature of this library, it should get you close. I don't remember if the default

You never answered my question on the proper data. Do you have a hard copy of the proper data? Is the diskette (if you have it) in Fuji Flexa format? In order for flexa to communicate with the CP6, you must have the correct proper data.

I also forgot to add that if the proper data was not generated by flexa for the CP6, then flexa will not communicate with the machine. You need to flush the proper and resend using flexa for the communications to work correcty. Good luck!
