Is this problem with local fiducials or global? Is the problem on the same equipment? Is this a cad file o centroid? How are you measure the coordinates?

Try using the wendy-house style on the specififc area's where you have solder balling. It's not always a good idea to do a global reduction to all apperatures.

I agree with PR. We run down to 12 mil pitch with out local fids. We run with 2 global fids for a panel of up to 40 boards. This has worked very well for us. Jerry

1. Why would parts be missing? 2. Why would you have a global offset? 3. Why would it not be right the first time?

OOps, to quick on the draw. If you have the CAD data for you fids I'll bet if you input those numbers (not teach on the machine) they'll work. Do you teach your globals the same way?

Patrick, Well 6-Billion farters don't help the global warming problem either. And I can bet that all 6-billion of us who inhabit the earth fart AT LEAST once a week. :)

That is right, the USA does suck. They are a bunch of bassturds that spout how graet they are without doing anything about it. Look at them now I now they are almost gone and together we can stifle the life out of them. It is good to know Canada

Most suppliers provide guidance on proper assembly technique, like: http://global.kyocera.com/prdct/electro/pdf/add_pdf/111_119_e.pdf We have no relationship, nor receive benefit from the company referenced above.
