Dear Pro, I want to confirm with you about conveyor speed. is 1m/s? We are using wave soldering but it is 1.2m/min, min not second. Pls, check it agian. The flux is not relative this error. It is relative no sodering, bridge. The solder bar is the

Hi, have some question: during solder paste printing I'm faced with problems on the edge of the PCB - solder balls on gold pads. During analisys we checked everything - change squeegee preasure, different cleaning cycles, squeegee speed - no effect.

Thanks for your advice. I've tried setting the temperature up and even measuring the temperature at the wave itself but had no luck at all. I've also tried using temperatures going from 245 ºC up to 260 ºC. The amount of flux was adjusted as well a

My 2 cents... Screen printing may very well have a leg up on deciding SMT defects... however if you pay attention to your stencil (aperture size ratio etc..) and inspect your prints... I believe its a much lesser number... (paste MFG also plays a ro

I was wondering how successful industry has been in quantifying relationships between defects rates of particular solder problems (like bridging, opens,..) and PCA design parameters (like spacing, part orientation, pad dimensions, ...). For wave sol
