Optical alignment system

Electronics Forum | Thu Aug 28 04:31:22 EDT 2014 | jana

Thanks for the reply. So a mix of two images is made by optics(2 prisms) and ONE camera shows the result? Or there are two cameras and a mix of two images is made in video mixture device?

GSM Camera Focus

Electronics Forum | Mon Aug 28 17:00:53 EDT 2006 | flipit

I used to get about 4 years out of a GSM camera. The entire assembly from UIC used to be about $10,000.00. And yes that does equal a machine calibration.

CP42 Camera Problem

Electronics Forum | Mon Mar 03 12:25:37 EST 2008 | daxman

The problem was first noticed while doing a nozzle center. The wide angle camera would not display an image. After rebooting the machine (sometimes it took several tries) the camera would work. A few months later, the wide camera would not boot at a

Mirtec MV-3L side view cameras

Electronics Forum | Tue Jun 23 10:39:53 EDT 2015 | robie69

I've read through an old Mirtec thread and in it a couple of guys mentioned that they have issues with their side view camera(s). I'm currently having issues with both of mine, where the image will become blurry, and it will add purple lines to the

MPM Accuflex, Lost Vision

I don't believe the lighting and camera have the same power supply. You have no image. The likely issue is the camera power supply of the camera itself.

If you teach your feeders, you can no longer gang pick correct? I have never had a dual beam or dual head GSM before. However, if you teach feeders with the fiducial camera and your picks are still off, there is an offset in one or several spindles

Programming help for GSM

Re: 0402 placement by IP2

Electronics Forum | Thu Dec 21 16:56:03 EST 2000 | lucky

I do not think so. The 54 mm has a large field of view, so when it looks at small parts the image is blurry. What you want to try is using the other camera (camera 2) it has a 38mm field of view. Camera 2 is considered a narrow field of view, the cam

Universal GSM Placement Data...

Electronics Forum | Thu Jan 11 14:27:30 EST 2007 | gregcr

I worked for a similar company. They had 4 GSM's. Most all of the GSM's software have a fairly straight forward way of importing data, it is just a matter of formating it correctly. I can't imaging using calipers to make a GSM placement program if
