I have a PTF that is blowing the MMIT card on the PTF. Anyone have any ideas why? It's OK until the PTF begins the zero process. Thanks, Dyer

Having some issues with our GSM picking parts that are delivered by the PTF off center; and wondering if there's a relatively painless way to calibrate where the head goes to pick the part on the belt. Near as I can see, the PTF is picking the parts

Thanks all for the opinions. Our shuttle/GSM1/PTF install was done by an ex-UIC engineer. Have never utilized shuttle so appreciate the advice on pros and cons of it all. We have 1.0 mil on PTF side and 4.0 on shuttle side. C4 head on both sides

"aj" you should find your way to a training class. The measurement is from the zero point of the tray feeder( almost always the feeder slot pin giude that the center guide of the tray holder hits...located in the machine ). It is not the same as nest

FYI...Universal has software that "senses" if parts are present in the PTF trays or not. With some upgraded s/w your dumping would be over

On the GSM, the board width is usualy 18" maximun. But there's a lot of possibility depending if you have a PTF or where's yours changers and the block #
