Haven't tried that yet as we don't have backups of them. The ovens are about 5 years old, our next step it to change the main card and reinstall as we have one as spares, just waiting for a break in production to do it.

Yes I agree with Russ about someone asking up front and everything else. Two tips. 1. Keep the marks at least 5mm in from the conveyor edges of the pcb so that clamping systems do not hide the mark. 2. Make sure the marks are eccentric around the pcb

I'm not aware of any such stipulation about witness [probe] marks for assembled boards, per se. Certainly, witness marks should not affect the intended performance of the assembly, you know, like damaging the solder connection or smudging solder mate

Who can blame anyone for having lousy service in China when there's twenty companies selling cheap throw away ovens for $20K new. What's surprising is why would BTU, Ersa, Vitronics and Heller even try to sell over there anymore.
