The PCB is in a housing when it is returned from the field and it takes 1.5 hours to remove the PCB from the housing so we are looking for a way to rework the BGA without removing it from the housing. Hence, top-side rework only.

Claire, In my opinion the choise is obvious. You should select prototyping PCB house. If the PCB house filed is prototyping, quality will definetely be better comparing to huge PCB houses. Regards

Board House, Thank you for the info. We are baking 6 hours at 250F prior to processing. We are a military contract house that has always baked and have never had issues until recently. I appreciate the info. We are sending a team on the road to visit
