You need an illuminance meter. We used these on the set of the Spice Girl videos. Search Yahoo for dozens of manufacturers. Use OSHA specs for setting up your factory - but aren't you in China? Not sure if they have an OSHA over there.

You can use a meter in "diode mode" to illuminate an LED to check a batch. Hopefully your stock room doesn't open the container and poor them all into a bucket to be issued out to the floor.

Another sticky issue is that if you use after market nozzles especially mixed in with Fuji nozzles the Anti-Marking Illumination Disks can be different enough that the vision system will reject nozzles. Jerry

The right paper incorrectly applied can be a problem also. I have seen it on even new Fuji nozzles with the illumination disk bunched up on one side of the tube with a gap on the opposite side.

I have found that lighting for the cam is very important for fiducial recognition. My machine illuminates with a light ring, which isn't so good. However, if I burnish the fiducial with a small fiberglass brush then it works every time.
