Welcome back to SMTnet, bubba. Depending on your goal select from: * Manufacturing defects tester * In-circuit tester

Wavesoldering

Electronics Forum | Thu Mar 15 17:28:44 EST 2001 | rentreo

Sounds like a problem I ran into recently. In my case it was a problem with via holes which were used as test points on our in-circuit tester. My problem was caused by moisture in the boards. My cure was a 24 hour bake at 100 deg c.

ROI on AOI Machines

Electronics Forum | Mon Jul 07 21:08:17 EDT 2003 | sam

I have an experience about AOI that it is necessary in a complicated PCB. Due to the final circuit design, the concerned PCB were having nets on the boards, that the Open/Short could not be identified by traditional In-Circuit testers. Some long tr

X5R dielectric aging

Electronics Forum | Fri May 29 15:03:46 EDT 2009 | rway

We have recently begun using X5R dielectric capacitors. Although they have a better temperature coefficient over Y5V, they age much faster (5-7% logarithmically per decade). I assume the reason for using the X5R was the availability of the capacita

Don't understand the test results of an In-Circuit Tester

Electronics Forum | Sat Nov 19 03:15:39 EST 2016 | sarason

Does the file come off of an ICT. Next question is it an AGinet/HP/Keysight 3070. If so you have a chance at finding out the format. It is probably posted online in the Keysight manual downloads section. I might still have an old paper copy of this

Don't understand the test results of an In-Circuit Tester

Electronics Forum | Wed Nov 16 03:41:43 EST 2016 | Haizen

I need to extract data from a log file and sort the data in an Excel file. Details are as follows: - Log File is a measurement result produced by an In-Circuit Tester (no info. about it, no name, no type, nothing). - Measurement Result is from

Re: Wavesoldering Organic Copper Coated Vias

| I have a single-sided board with test vias that pass through the board. The test vias are pasted and reflowed with the SMT components on the top side. When the boards are wavesoldered, the solder coverage on the vias is spotty. Some will sold
