PCB panelization method

Electronics Forum | Sun Nov 14 07:23:46 EST 1999 | KenF

Hi, SMTnetters, Could anyone advise where I can find information describing a method called "push-back" ( I hope this name is correct) of arranging individual PCBs into a panel? Regards, KenF

We took Orbotech and Viscom into short-list. Both systems uses angular cameras to inspect solder joints. I'm also very interested to hear any experiences and posted the ORBOTECH vs. VISCOM message some days earlier.

IRSI - Integrated Reliability Corporation? It seems they do'nt have a turnkey solution for post reflow inspection. I only found an inspection on component-(die)-level. Do you have any additional information? Michael

Delmat

I have been actively experimenting with Selective WS pallets fabricated from Delmat. I need feedback from users on life expectancy, demesion constraints relative to warpage or degradation, and any useful info on ways to maximize life and prevention

Thanks Rob, I figured a PM schedule would be a must. I will be checking out Durapol in my next pallet.

A Tips window appears everytime I visit the Forum, even though I have checked the box to insure that it doesn't reappear on the next visit! Why? Doug

patches

Electronics Forum | Fri Nov 12 09:57:37 EST 1999 | Wolfgang Busko

A question arouses if its suitable with quality standards to solder a chip component onto another double-whopper-like to perform a patch. Often done in prototyping but is it also suitable for patches on boards already out in the field ? Any suggest
