Try switching to a different board and see if the error goes away. If it does, it has something to do with one of the loader sensors not being made.

Possible cause is the Middle Loading Sensor. Check the ML flag. Also, this problem occurs when the z-axis base slips. Need to level the base and re-calibrate z-axis origin.

Check all of the interlocks. The heaters and conveyor will not power up unless all of the interlocks are closed.

Hello, We have a Radial 5 machine from Universal Instruments and every time I turn the Interlock Bypass key to disengage the Interlock Bypass and run at full auto, my machine will act as if a cover or an interlock is not being made. All 13 covers ar

Do you have an interlock bypass key? If you do can you reset the interlock in bypass? If you cannot, I believe there is a pico fuse on the interlock pcb in the control panel that may have blown.

That's pretty funny.............change the cognex card. Jim you indeed have an interlock problem an if this is a UP-3000 which I suspect it is there are several interlocks if I recall correctly.

Voyager and the uic site has diagrams for the safety systems. There's often interlocks on weird stuff, like for me it was a feeder bank sensor was loose.

There is a couple of things to check. Put the machine in diagnostics and let the chain run. You should see it run the same as you would if purging it. Sometimes the 2 hall effects at the disk do not see the disk as it turns. Check the driver board

I'm not sure if these are similar to our Genesis machines but if they have removable feeder banks they are part of the safety circuit. If they are not installed or if the sensors on them are misaligned it will show the same as an interlock violation
