Next step trace the RS232 cable. Check all output voltages on your power supplys, b oth loaded an d unloaded. Note any differences. Check he impedancesa of your loads ie is your 24 volt load only measuring a few ohms. You may have a short? sarason

I found a broken COM3 connector on the fluxer interface board where the PC comms go through and replaced the connector. Now when trying to establish communications the exhaust fan turns off briefly a few times then it times out and reports a failure
