I would recommend you take a look at JBC if you are looking for a "good" soldering iron to work with lead free solder. Find the attached comparative graphs and before anybody asks. Yes, I am affiliated with JBC.

We have used JBC soldering stations many years without any major problems. Handpiece is lightweight and comfortable to use. Tips are bit expensive but worth of money. Go Nano for 0402 and smaller and HD for massive part soldering. JBC CD-2BB Solderi

Personally I'd take a Metcal MX500 over a 130W JBC every day, and we had hundreds at the last place. However, here we have lots of JBC's, and my engineers and solderers swear by them. Both are good irons and like any you need to get your tip choice
