Just a slight correction....the quad align card is located at the back rear right of the machine (in a cage). If it is a cyber-optics 4c machine....the laser align card is in the front card rack to the far left.

Pads typically have paste on them. Unless you have some parts that arnt placed and you can wipe off the paste or tape off the holes in the stencil. Not a good option.

If i remember this correctly....and its been years.......check to see what your theta number is for the pickup or placement. The number has to be 1 of 4 values.

If you are using the upward camera then you probably have to put in a placement offset for each head. This only effects upward camera placements...not quadalign. This is located in: 1. machine-calibration-camera lens 2. Choose upward camera2 under "

Check in you system configuration that you dont have the opiton to use a matrix tray handler turned on. This is what i have seen cause this problem.

0603 and up should be no problem on the machine. If you are doing under 25 mil pitch the machine needs an upward camera to repeatably place the parts. You will always lose the first 10 or so parts with cut tape but that should be about it. Repair par

To add the camera to the machine would have a lot involved......including possible software/firmware upgrade. I would say buy a machine that already has it on it. To find the parts and upgrade it would probably cost more than the machine is worth. Ho

It will work on 95 if you can find copies.....cant remember if i ever had it working on 98. There is a mkcompat file in 95 that has to have settings adjusted to make it work for 95.......dont know if i have that info anymore. Will send you the disks
