The Juki is showing and error code of 696007 and is also saying to go to the control panel to set date and time which is not letting the machine run.

We have a Juki KE-2080L that is going through CMOS batteries. We just installed our 2nd one in a couple of months. Other than maybe I have a bad battery any ideas why they would die so fast?

I would suggest getting KE-2060 or KE-2080 instead. It has better camera and easier programming if you are working with fine-pitch components such as QFPs & Micro BGAs.

You should take a snapshot of the error message, it should including an error code with it. Then try to search the error code from the help menu, it might give you more detailed info what might be the cause of the problem.
