Hi Rob, We encountered it on a 6x6mm device, hence, we could consider it as fine pitch. I suppose that it may also have something to do with improvements in the speed of the feeders. Honestly, we don't have that visibility bec our customers do not

Hi Liza, several years ago we had problem like that only with Carrier Tape made by Ploycarbonate material and by using High Speed pick & place. Very few pbms met by using low speed P&P machine. Problems have been solved by using Polystirene Carri

Hi Liza, We've seen it occaisionally in house on Universal GSM 8,12,16mm but not on Fuji (except when a feeder's not used for a while). Also on 44, 56 & 72mm (the smaller vol parts I mentioned earlier. It tends not to affect the Hoover Davis Feeder

I don't know Juki but I know stick feeding SO8 ICs. If you have a lot of them regularly then consider getting a tape and reel machine.

Does anyone else use splice tape on Juki feeders? If so what kind of splice and what kind of tape is being used to connect them? Thanks for any input.

We are recieving many QFN's in Tubes instead of trays and tape. Does anyone have luck with these in a tube feeder, or vib plate? We cant justify to order a full reel because the cost of the part.

When I'm Tearing down a Job, And removing the tape and reel from Agilis Feeder. Their is a gap of at least 10-12 Parts. Unpicked parts, When the knife on the feeder spreads the tape aside. and leaves this gap of feel falling parts.
