Now, that's very helpful information. What is it about the MPMs that they can justify such a price premium? I'd the build quality is anything like the UP2000 mechanically they last forever!

Use a Cpk study on your screen printer. Deviation from print to print. Most reutable surface mount machine companies will supply you with their Cpp study they performed on your machine before they shipped it. On ovens use your profiler. You can

2014 DEK Horizons move out of official support this year. This doesn't kill them but this is one reason DEKs about this age start to get fairly affordable, in the UK that makes them about 15-20K GBP, brand new after discounts etc a similar modern DEK

I have talked to all the people listed above. I can not justify sending this board to England every time the thing blows a curcuit. Does anyone have schematics for this printer. thanks

I second what Pete said. If you cant afford a new SPM buy a used one. They are around $10K to $15K right now. The resale value on the SPM will also be alot better than on the UP100.
