Nitrogen wave soldering

We are running an RMA flux (Kester 1515). Changing the angle didn't help any so we're back at 6 degrees and placing an order for the lambda nozzle changeover. Are you currently running the debridging knife?

Electrovert Econopak Wave Solder Parts - Titanium and Stainless

I have a collection of Electrovert Econopak Parts I would like to sell, or find a home for. This includes - TITANIUM - nozzle/flowduct, Solder pot liner pump assembly. Also have stainless parts - we don't run a 2nd nozzle and only user the Lambda noz

I have the identical machine and setup as you with the same issue(s). I looked at setting up for N2 but am choosing to retrofit to a standard lambda nozzle setup. If you are soldering bottom side SMT parts or other challenging assemblies, N2 may ma

Solder Pot Volume reducers

I will soon be filling an electrovert solder module which is only going to be running one (lambda) nozzle/pump. this leaves quite a bit of solder volume I am going to have to put $$ into. Has anyone here used iron bars or spacers or bricks or other

Dave, I do have the mechanical drawings but no electronic versions. After looking at the cost of setting up for N2 I decided against it for now, BTW. If you think about it, having an air knife on this nozzle would tend to negate the negative effec

By Hot Air Knife I assume (leave it alone Dave F.) that you mean a debridging knife located at the exit end of a wave solder machine. Russ is right, they are not a good substitute for a good process, but once the process (w/o HAK) is developed, it

Mike, I've tried the high side of the flux preheat spec with no success. I did just get off the phone with Electrovert tech support...... Get ready. This machine is configured with a Contour Plus N2 nozzle. We are not running N2. According to M
