Also make sure nozzle retraction is ok, if nozzle shafts stick at different heights can effect laser centering stability.

Trying to find a laser marking machine. Thing is that most of my pcbs have white solder mask, so the when trying to read the 2D code is difficult due to the lack of contrast. Any idea? a different technology? regards

I don't own a laser printer right now. I sent samples to some vendors and I couldn't read the codes. Have pictures of 2D codes on white solder mask? Thanks

Brad, have you got any calibration jigs with the machine? This could also be down to laser offset or laser scaling which are both calibrated with different jigs. Where are you based?

I am researching different equipment sets to replace an outdated mechanical router for depanelization. I am curious how laser depanelization compares to a standard cnc router, and any pro and cons you may have found using one over the other.
