I would recommend not to mix leaded irons to do non-leaded rework. Especially, if you are working on ROHS compliance project that will create contamination. Weller and Hakko still have tips for leaded soldering tips, you can chechk on their web sites

45 seconds from 230-245C. Check your paste material of choice for recomended profile peak temp and TAL. If you have not selected a lead free material check out the major paste suppliers on their lead free material offering and review the specs.

Hi Johan, As a Asian board supplier - I would not recommend using Lead free hasl on any product that has BGA, you would be just looking for issues, flatness being the main. I agree with one of the other replies - Your purchasing dept. should not be
