In addition to Dave’s response Yes tin dissolves (corrodes) other metals even at room temperature, just a whole lot slower. The affinity of tin to dissolve other metals is most effectively neutralized with the addition of lead. It is not by accident

Most robust wave soldering machines will cope with lead free alloys. The temperatures in air that we have run has been between 260-265C. In my opinion the dross generation has not been significantly effected. I was doing a workshop for a well known

Has anyone dealt with a dual wave solder system. We are a bit tight in floor space and have to maintain a leaded line , but also need to convert to lead free. We are looking at dual wave systems were you have two pots to wheel into place to run one o

We have a 3/6 Nozzle We do have monitors. One of our pots is leaded, the other is lead free. Our average wave height is ussually around 50%. Also, do you have any or found any benefits to removing nozzels at the end of your shift. I recall you say
