Does anyone have any experience with any lead free solder paste and the "paste in hole " or intrusive reflow process? I am interested in how the lower "spread" of lead free paste reacts in a through hole soldering process.

hi, what we have learnt is lead free parts are ok to use with lead solder except BGA where you have to be carefull at reflow.

Hi all, we're preparing for the switch to lead free and I was wondering how dangerous/harmful to our new wave oven it would be to run tin lead parts through the no lead wave. Will the lead build up and cause issues?

Your 316L stainless steel pot will not contain lead-free solder, over the long term. We'd bet that our solder machine equipment manufacturer will "swap" you a lead-free solder compatable pot for your current pot.
