Are you absolutely sure the problem is with the humidity? We had a problem with 3528 size leds, damaged by the pick and place nozzle because a 0.2mm mistake in the height measurement. Also, we found that several suppliers are using fake desiccant ba

Need to pick between an inexpensive Manncorp manual axial lead former or the Manix unit. Any one have any experience with either of these two units?

Can you confirm the components are being picked up from the feeders? If the Feeder table calibration is incorrect the components could be picked up off from the begining. This would result in 1) nozzle barely picking up the part and as the head moves

Do you mean that pick up z height is taught too deep thats why it can possibly flip the next chip. I will check our machine if have the same setting as yours. Thank you for this thought.

I do not have machine experience, but I think vacuum too early would be a more likely cause of chips leaping to a nozzle. Juki nozzles are made of hardened stainless and could be slightly magnetic, but the end is relatively small and would not have t

Hello all Good morning. I just want to ask with you guys about the problem that we always experienced in our production. We could not get our target ppm due. to inverted placement of chip resistor. We are using 2000 series juki mounter and cf03hp j

Board support will almost always cause the part to be miss-mounted. The bouncing affect of the board can cause the part to bouce off the board. BUT, you never stated where the ends up or anything like that. Is the part on the board but just floppi

Too fast heating/cooling rate in reflow (look at mfg's spec.). Z "overdrive" on pick and place or chipshooter though unlikely I would say. Depanelization method (bending a scored board to break it is tough on things). Bad PCB design - cap. too clo

Sal, Silly question: Were the parts skewed before they went into the oven? I've chased down a few similar reflow problems in my lifetime, only to find out it was a pick and place problem. Wrong nozzle size, bad nozzle, feeder not advancing all

As has been mentioned, it's likely that the component is moving in the tape, and flipping over. It is not likely that the pick/place operation is causing this. What I haven't seen mentioned is that there is an acceptability criteria in IPC for inve
