We have been experiencing an issue where our Panasonic film caps on a board are losing their rated capacitance. We are well within their recommended reflow specs and no other operation exposes the part to a temp of more than 160°C. The caps will read

No direct experience with this particular issue....but, I do know that measuring capacitance can be tricky. How are you arriving at this conclusion? Are you measuring the caps on the bench before assembly, and then on the boards post assembly? Cap

Hi all, One of our Fuji IP3 (we have two) keeps losing the proper data (proper, status, programs) when off for a couple of days or so. I changed the battery on the MP board (its voltage looked fine: 3.6v) but that didn't fixed it. I notice a super ca

The good solution is to adopt ERP system and barcode tracking for everything you have in inventory. If not, SMT supervisor will keep super complicated excel sheets to track what is where..... Or.. you can request all to be kitted together and confirm

Hello, I recently became the SMT supervisor where I work. I have experience in much of the other areas but haven't actually done SMT work myself. An ongoing issue that I'm having is parts/reels related. If the person responsible for kitting starts g
