I have a couple of questions about the SMEMA conveyor (standard 1.2); I posted the question to them but had no answer. SMEMA says: 5) Maximum gap. The maximum gap between the in-line machine track ends is 0.375 I would suppose this gap refers to th

The standard machine is set from the factory at 7-9 degrees, 7 is the most standard, why are you considering the change? before doing any thing to the machine, first identify why? what type of defects are you seeing? I have found, depending on the t

We have an oMniflow 7 as well, and looking at the calibration procedure, it indicates that turning the pots ( total of 5 pots. 4 on the lower board and one on the upper board )fully counter-clockwise is the FIRST step of a series of tests. Then you w

Makes us wonder how well the connections on the > component match with the pads on the board. The pads are actually larger than the leads on the part, but I think we may have figured it out. We believe the conveyor vibration is causing it. When we

Yes, you can adjust the board clamp speed by adjusting the flow control valve on both air cylinders (front and rear). You may also want to adjust the software delay for the conveyor so that it starts after the board is completely lowered. | Once

Once the machine has finished placing all th parts is there a way to slow down the speed at which the machine lowers the board back to the conveyors? Or are added board supports the only option?

Krikies my friend. A good wave ogre will be able to look at a wave and tweak in a way to minimize contact length (by slowing the conveyor speed), thus improving peelback, and lower it to the bare minimum without disrupting it's backward and forward

Clearly you are above liquidus for too long so you can either increase conveyor speed or lower some zone settings. With your current recipe you don't mention the conveyor speed or the total profile length. Also ...are your max / min slopes really so
