M.L. Feather I'm sorry I missed the first part of this discussion. Why are your fids black? Is this something you requested? Is it a board defect that you are trying to "work around"? What is the black material?

The black fid is a routing hole that I am trying to use for a fid. The board house did not manufacture any fids for the board I am building. This is becoming more frequent in the boards I am recieving. M.L. Feather

I have never heard of using a corner of a trace before. How interesting. However, the Universal GSM only gives me the standard shapes of fiducials. (round, square, diamond, cross etc.) Thank you for replying. M.L. Feather

We use MORESCO-HILUBE R-220, out of Greenville, SC. Heller recommended, their PN 593555. They sell 250mL, I believe straight from Moresco smallest is 4 liter.
